Leofoto Mr.Q series LQ-284C carbon tripod with LH-30 ball head
The Leofoto LQ-284C carbon tripod is part of the versatile Leofoto Mr.Q tripod series. The LQ-284C has four leg sections and when using the removable center column it reaches a maximum working height of 158 cm. In contrast, the minimum working height of this tripod is only 16 cm, which is fine for working low to the ground. Despite its light weight of only 1.22 kilograms, it has a carrying capacity of 10 kilograms. The LQ-284C tripod comes with an LH-30 ball head, a multifunctional center column and several useful accessories.
The 10-layer woven carbon fiber makes the LQ-284C tripod strong, while including the ball head it remains lightweight at only 1.53 kilograms. In addition, the 3rd generation carbon weave pattern gives the tripod a robust and striking appearance. On the side of tripod platform is a 3/8-inch and ¼-inch thread to expand the tripod with a magic arm or other accessory.
Center column included
The Leofoto Mr. Q tripod features a detachable tripod plate measuring 50 mm in diameter. This plate is compatible with the LH-30 ballhead and can be easily replaced with the included center column. Switching to the center column is quick and tool-free, taking only a few seconds. Adjusting the column’s height is simple thanks to the silver butterfly nut with rubber anti-slip strips. The center column, with a diameter of 25 mm and a length of 31 cm, provides ample height adjustment, making the tripod suitable for studio, landscape, and macro photography.
Features of the Leofoto tripod
The Leofoto carbon tripod features an intuitive TwistLock system for adjusting leg height quickly. With rubber turning handles, you can easily operate the legs even while wearing gloves. The tripod’s carbon legs can be tilted at three angles: 23°, 55°, and 85°, with the maximum tilt allowing the legs to almost lie flat on the ground, achieving a minimum working height of 16 cm. Rubber feet prevent slipping on smooth surfaces, but you can also switch them out with the included spikes for better grip on softer terrain. For added convenience during transport, the tripod comes with a water-repellent carrying bag.
Professional LH-30 ball head
The LH-30 ball head, designed for professionals, offers 360-degree rotation and seamless transition between portrait and landscape orientations. It also boasts dual panning capability. Equipped with a level and a universal 3/8″ tripod screw, it accommodates nearly any camera. Friction can be finely adjusted via a convenient dial, enabling precise control. With a diameter of 30mm and a 47mm panning base, it stands at 80mm tall. Included is a BPL-50 quick release plate, Arca-Swiss Compatible, capable of supporting up to 15 kilograms while weighing only 310 grams itself.

With the universal BPL-50 Arca-Swiss quick-release plate, attaching your camera to the Leofoto LH-30 ballhead is quick and effortless. Simply unscrew the clamp, slide the 50mm long quick release plate into the holder, and screw the clamp back on. Moreover, this quick release plate is interchangeable with other universal Arca-Swiss compatible plates. Additionally, using a Leofoto L-plate, the camera can also be mounted on this ballhead.
