Savage paper backgrounds

Savage Universal, an American brand, has been a world leader in paper backgrounds and photographic products since 1937. Over the decades, the company has grown to become a leading manufacturer of high-quality paper backgrounds, as well as other photographic and videographic equipment.

Savage paper backgrounds are renowned for their durability and wide choice of colors, such as red (Primary Red or Rustic), blue (Ocean Blue, Baby Blue or Sky Blue), as well as basic black and white.

Which brand of paper background to choose?

As explained above, the four brands of paper backgrounds – Colorama, Lastolite/Manfrotto Papers, Savage and Superior– are actually manufactured in the same factory, so all paper backgrounds are of the same quality.

They are designed to be durable and easy to handle, providing a smooth, seamless background for professional-quality images and videos.
