With a minimum focusing distance of 40 cm, this Summicron-M 28mm F/2 ASPH. wide-angle lens offers exciting new photographic possibilities. Thanks to a unique dual-curve mechanism developed by Leica, the lens allows for closer focus than its predecessor.
The compact design features a smooth, quiet focus ring that makes adjustments easy. For focus distances up to 70 cm, you can still use the M camera’s rangefinder. For distances between 70 cm and 40 cm, you can use the live view display, Visoflex 2, or the Leica FOTOS app.
