Grids zijn eenvoudig te gebruiken accessoires die zijn ontworpen om de verspreiding van licht te regelen en contrast en diepte toe te voegen aan het uiteindelijke beeld. Met een raster is het eenvoudig om het licht te regelen en te richten waar je het wilt, terwijl je de lichtverspreiding naar andere delen van het beeld beperkt, wat de controle over het vormgeven van het licht alleen maar groter maakt.

100mm roosters worden direct op Profoto vlakke lampen gemonteerd en worden onder andere gebruikt om je hoofdlicht vorm te geven, achtergrondeffecten in portretten te creëren of highlights in stillevens te accentueren.
