The workshop will focus on creating fashion and beauty photographs in a professional studio setting.
Each speaker will emphasize a crucial step to successfully capture fashion and beauty photos.
The trainers:
Frédéric Bastin (@fredbastin): As a photographer, he will handle the shoots and the photographic techniques and lighting to achieve optimal lighting and high-quality results.
Pascal Van Loenhout (@the.aceofblades): Creative Director at Cut for Kevin Murphy, he will be responsible for hairstyling, bringing his expertise to enhance your models.
Sandrine Coutelier (@sandrinecouteliermakeup): Makeup Artist and Beauty Art Director, she will oversee the makeup portion, teaching you how to beautify the models and create a cohesive look in line with the artistic direction and lighting of the shoot.
Yvan Guerdon (@yvan_guerdon): Instructor at one of the top photography schools in Belgium, he will share his expertise on workflow using Capture One and Phocus (Hasselblad).
Equipment used during the workshop
The equipment used during the workshop will include state-of-the-art gear from renowned brands Hasselblad and Profoto, recognized in the field of professional photography.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the performance of these cameras and lighting throughout the day.
Core of the workshop
The main exercise of the workshop will involve comparing different accessories specifically designed for beauty photography, such as the Octa 5″ and beauty dishes. You will discover how each of these accessories influences the lighting and final rendering of your photos.
This workshop will enable you to understand the different effects you can create by experimenting with accessories and lighting techniques. You will learn how to achieve the best possible results and fully harness the potential of your equipment.
With a hands-on approach, you will leave with concrete skills and fresh ideas for your future photo sessions.
